Create concept art for gaming with a focus on style and theme consistency through a solid grasp of game art principles. The class fosters the strong development of individual style as well demonstrating a wide range of methods to transform concept art into consistent and functional art for in game purposes. Students will become skilled at re-imagining a world using its established style and theme as they develop a new section of a particular Intellectual Property (IP).
BIO: Eduardo Gonzalez has been in the gaming industry for over 10 years. He has influenced the art for some of the biggest hits in recent game history. Army of Two: The 40th Day, God of War, Kill Zone, and Twisted Metal to name only a few. Eduardo is now with Riot Games as a Visual Lead for the extremely popular MOBA PC title League of Legends, creating and leading the visual direction of numerous champions. He also led the visual development of the new game mode Dominion. Eduardo graduated from Art Center College of Design, in Pasadena California, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration.
